Nike Air Max 1 Premium Wabi-Sabi

This special version of the Nike Air Max 1 pays homage to the traditional Japanese aesthetics, wabi-sabi, which is centered on the acceptance of transience and imperfection. The sneaker comes dressed in earthy tones done in a canvas base along with suede overlays. Standout details include “cracked” graphics on the midsoles, exposed stitching throughout the upper, “XXXV” stitched in red onto the lateral heel, interchangeable “3.26” tongue tags celebrating Air Max Day, and Swoosh smiley heels. Down below we see a Sail rubber midsole sitting atop a gum rubber outsole.
